Careers at Demox Solutions
Remote-first careers with a small software team.
Demox Solutions is a software studio with high standards, shared ownership, and a long-term view of software and working relationships. Explore how we work and the opportunities we are preparing to open.
Working here
Small team, clear ownership.
We are building Demox deliberately. That means keeping teams small, communication direct, and responsibility clear.
People here are trusted to manage their work, raise concerns early, make thoughtful decisions, and contribute beyond a narrow job description.
- Remote-first
- Work is done remotely, with availability agreed inside the team rather than assumed.
- Real responsibility
- You own pieces of work end to end, and you have the context needed to make decisions about them.
- Direct communication
- Say what you think, ask when you do not know, and flag problems while they are still small.
- Learning through delivery
- You learn on work that ships to real users, with review from people who have shipped before.
- High standards, little hierarchy
- Work is reviewed on its merits. There is no layer of approval between you and the decision.
- A sustainable pace
- Plans account for the hours people actually have. Personal time outside agreed availability is respected.
Work-life balance
Sustainable work, not burnout.
At Demox Solutions, we believe great engineering comes from sustainable work — not burnout. We value flexibility, trust, and clear communication, giving our team the autonomy to manage their schedules while meeting shared goals. Our remote-first environment is built around ownership, collaboration, and respect for personal time.
Autonomy is not the absence of commitments. Deadlines are real, meetings happen, clients need answers, and teammates need to know when they can reach you. Flexibility here means agreeing how you work with the people who depend on it — then being dependable inside that agreement.
Remote-first
How remote works in practice.
A short summary of what remote-first means day to day. The full version lives in the workplace policy.
- Work is performed primarily remotely.
- Team members are expected to maintain reliable communication.
- Availability expectations are agreed with the team, not assumed.
- Meetings are kept purposeful and no longer than they need to be.
- Performance is evaluated through responsibility, communication, and results — not online presence.
- Occasional in-person meetings may be arranged where practical and mutually agreed.
Who fits
The people this suits.
Experience matters less to us than how someone works. These are the traits that hold up over a long engagement.
- Self-directed, and comfortable deciding what to do next
- Clear in writing, because most of the work is written
- Willing to ask questions early rather than guess
- Detail-oriented, particularly about the parts nobody checks
- Reliable about commitments, including small ones
- Interested in learning past the edge of the current task
- Able to work with ambiguity and narrow it down
- Respectful of clients and teammates, including under pressure
- Motivated by building useful software, not only closing tickets
