Remote-first workplace
- Demox Solutions currently operates as a remote-first company.
- Team members may work from an appropriate location with reliable internet and a professional working environment.
- Remote work requires responsiveness, accountability, secure practices, and dependable delivery.
- Remote-first does not mean working without coordination or agreed availability.
- Occasional in-person meetings may be arranged when useful and practical.
Working hours and availability
- Working schedules may vary by role, location, project, and agreement.
- Team members should maintain agreed collaboration hours.
- Planned absences should be communicated early.
- Urgent blockers or missed commitments should be raised as soon as possible.
- Personal time outside agreed availability should be respected.
Communication
- Use the agreed company channels for work communication.
- Keep project decisions documented.
- Communicate clearly and concisely.
- Escalate risks early.
- Avoid unnecessary meetings.
- Do not rely on private or disappearing messages for important project decisions.
Performance and accountability

- Being visibly online is not a substitute for progress.

Information security and confidentiality
- Protect client, employee, and company information.
- Use strong passwords and multi-factor authentication where available.
- Do not share credentials.
- Keep devices updated and secured.
- Use approved storage, repositories, and communication tools.
- Do not upload confidential information to unapproved AI tools or third-party services.
- Report suspected security incidents immediately.
- Confidentiality continues after a project or working relationship ends where applicable.
Intellectual property
- Work created for the company or its clients must be handled according to the applicable project, contractor, or employment agreement.
- Team members must not reuse proprietary client code, data, designs, credentials, or documentation without authorisation.
- Open-source software must be used in compliance with its license.
Responsible use of AI
- AI tools may support research, drafting, coding, testing, and analysis when appropriate.
- AI output must be reviewed by a responsible person.
- Confidential or personal data must not be entered into unapproved AI services.
- AI-generated code and content must be checked for correctness, security, licensing, bias, and suitability.
- AI must not be used to misrepresent authorship, fabricate evidence, or avoid accountability.
